How do I use the extension?
Simply navigate to a page with a movie description or YouTube video, click the VidScio extension icon, and we'll identify the movie/show for you. You can also submit any URL directly through the extension.
Is VidScio free?
VidScio includes free daily usage for guests and higher free daily limits for signed-in users. If you use the included movie actions, you can wait for the daily reset or buy an optional one-time action pack. There is no recurring subscription in the current pricing model. Why is the movie identification sometimes wrong?
VidScio returns candidates from the evidence available, and a result can be wrong when a clip is inaccessible, a scene is generic, or a remembered detail is inaccurate. Check the cast, year, and plot before accepting a match. You can report an incorrect result with the "Report Wrong Movie" button.
Does VidScio track my browsing?
No. We only analyze page content when you explicitly click the extension icon or submit a URL. We do not continuously monitor your browsing activity. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Do streaming links use affiliate relationships?
Some outbound streaming links may include affiliate parameters. If you visit a provider through one of those links and complete a qualifying purchase or sign-up, VidScio may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
How do I sync my watchlist across devices?
Sign in with your Google account in the extension, and your watchlist will automatically sync across all your devices where you're logged in.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing support@vidscio.com with the subject "Delete My Account". We process verified requests in line with applicable legal requirements, subject to legal obligations and backup limitations.
