How do I use the extension?

Simply navigate to a page with a movie description or YouTube video, click the VidScio extension icon, and we'll identify the movie/show for you. You can also submit any URL directly through the extension.

Is VidScio free?

Yes! VidScio is currently free to use. We may introduce premium features in the future, but the core functionality will remain free.

Why is the movie identification sometimes wrong?

VidScio uses AI to identify movies, and while we strive for high accuracy, AI can make mistakes—especially with obscure titles, foreign films, or ambiguous references. You can report incorrect identifications using the "Report Wrong Movie" button.

Does VidScio track my browsing?

No. We only analyze page content when you explicitly click the extension icon or submit a URL. We do not continuously monitor your browsing activity. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I sync my watchlist across devices?

Sign in with your Google account in the extension, and your watchlist will automatically sync across all your devices where you're logged in.

Can I delete my data?

Yes! You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at vidscio.app@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Account". We will process your request within 7 business days.
